Though not in the photos I have the brake lines, 6 piston calipers and mastercylinder. The clutch lever as well. The steering damper too.
I need to buy wheel bearings and seals. I can not get over how light this wheel is...maybe a pound or two.
The rotors are complete only missing one bolt.
I'm picking up the front fender when I get a chance to go back to the guy's house. I left it by mistake. The guy threw in a very nice front tire with maybe 40% tread left. It's a directional Dunlop that supposedly doesn need balancing. He said there is a round dot on the tire you line up with the valve stem and the tire will balance without weights...Never heard of anything like that before...I guess I'll find out.

That would be so cool to hang on the front of a GL. You didn't get a line on the mufflers did you? I have always wanted to try a pair of Busa mufflers on my GL1200. I bet it would sound great.
As for the "no balance tire" all newer motorcycle tires have the yellow dot. That is supposed to be the light spot in the tire and you put that next to the valve stem which is supposed to be the heaviest part of the wheel. But that doesn't mean that you don't have to balance it. It may be just right or 1 oz off. Point is you still need to balance the tire/wheel combination.
I use and am sold on Dyna beads for the balance. No muss, no fuss and always in balance.
Now you have me jealous. What a fine front end. As for the dot...
Red dot = high point in roundness
Yellow dot = light point in balance
Mount red first ("RED RULES"), if you have a low point mark on the rim (valve stem on steel wheels, valve stem on some aluminum wheels (if the valve stem is in different places on the alloy wheels, then it is there... but a lot of current alloy wheels have the stem in a certain place because of the design), or a dimple or paint spot on the back of some alloy wheels.
I found the end of the internet

Richard - so if I have a red and yellow spot, I mount the red spot next to the valve stem before the yellow dot? I think I just have seen yellow dots on my tires.

i always thought the dot also depicted the quality of the tire. there is also a blue dot. seems like there was a thread on that a long time ago. but i could be wrong

If you ever get those forks on a GW I want to hear about it -- I bet we ALL do! It will be a huge improvement I suspect. Add tapered roller bearings too, that might be the only option anyway. What a great set of forks! I bet the length is just right too--aren't they a bit longer than GW forks?

I only broke out the tape measure but they might be a 1/2" to 3/ 4" shorter. I believe I can overcome that by
using the S&W shocks I just bought because they are about 1/2" to 3/4" shorter. Hopefully that will keep the geometry the same. These Busa forks are huge. There will be no flex I feel sure.

CYBORG, Yes I have other plans but I need to get past this fitment problem first. I'd really like to keep my spoked front wheel. Not sure it's possible but I'm going to give it a shot. I'm concerned about attaching the 320mm diameter Busa rotors to the Honda hub.I just today bought some bearings and seals for the Busa wheel from Bearings and Drives here in Gainesville. just in case that I can't make the spoke wheel work. I'm mostly sitting across from the bike pondering what other changes will be necessary. I will have the Busa fender after this weekend. I'm not sure I want to use it...pretty ugly bulbous thing.

Not so lucky but more of an intense searcher on the bay and craigslist. Also If a person is selling some motorcycle parts but they're not particularly what you need just ask if he knows anyone that may have what you're looking for. Face it most people who ride know other people who ride and have MBS. I talk to people all the time about motorcycles and I tell them about my guitar shop to promote my sales and to get repair work.
Last Sunday my wife and I went to Dahlonega, GA and ate lunch at the Smith House. The Smith House seats strangers together at large family dinning tables. You don't order anything the waitresses just starts bringing bowls of veggies and three kinds of meat. Rolls and cornbread with real butter on the side. Everything is passed around the table and if something runs out they bring more. You eat all you can stand. Now back to the story. We were seated with another couple and we started talking. They were there for an anniversary. Then he asked if we were local and what did I do for a living. I said I build guitars and piddle with motorcycles. He lit up asked for my card. He's been back in touch and wants a guitar for his son.
