If it runs good, it is worth about $1000-$1200 IMO. Overall I like the stance of the cafe seat and Emgo Viper fairing... but as the sum of its parts, it was cheaply "cafe'd". Paint job is spray-bombed. Missing the fenders (required in some states), no front blinkers (required), missing radiator shrouds. Plastic replacement horn. Chrome oil filter cover I guess means it has the spin-on adapter... so maybe that's a plus. Cheap aftermarket headlight ears. Looks like the cheap Ebay replacement front MC. Spray-bombed intake runners. Long bagger pipes, so I'm assuming the wiring harness was at some point spliced for Vetter bags, etc. Back tire looks a bit bald. Those handlebars are a long reach if you are under 6'4".

Any time I see a bike (or car) that has cheap bolt-on mods and spraypaint, my concern is that the mechanical maintenance was done on-the-cheap as well... it could be full of more gremlins that is worth your while.

Well... I'm with Warhead_71 on condition on this bike. I'd be hard pressed to give $1,000 for it. I'd certainly try to get it for less IF it starts and runs well as is.

It's missing so many original parts, and the value is drastically hurt by that. If the guy kept the original parts he took off of it that would be a big plus, but still no more than $1,000.

Unfortunately there are a lot of people around who find bikes with many missing parts and then they put together their idea of a cafe racer with the parts they have left and whatever else they can find, and then see what they can get for it.

Not trying to diminish the cafe racer fans. Just not my cup of tea. I like original.

I agree... The more I'm looking at it the less I'm liking it. And the emgo was going to be one of the first thing to go. I hadn't noticed a lot of the other issues in the pics. Probably would have caught them in person. May be a moot point anyway since he still hasn't emailed me back
