I love the bike and prefer riding it to my CB1100 which is an amazing bike but just doesn't have the same enjoyment factor as the Wing. I'm pleased I took the chance to buy it. It has real character and for a 41 year old bike, still hold up well

New to GL1000 ownership
Hi All. To fulfill childhood dream I always wanted a Wing. My dream came true when I got my greedy mots on a 1976 K1. It has covered 57k miles and the previous owner hadn't ridden it much. These bikes need exercise so I've ridden it a fair bit when it wasn't too cold and it's starting to feel like it's back to its best. I've changed timing belts and a few bits and pieces plus a new exhaust ( £ OUCH!!!) and it runs really nicely although noisy at tickover but that's common.
