Well, I'm still working on that. The film crew from "Dream Car Garage" took all the footage that day and we will get it when all the editing is done....when ever that is.

i love the look and the paint. I am soooooo tempted to turn mine into a runner such as yours and screw flipping it for the money. I would like to find out how difficult it is to paint those strips on. They are painted right?

#9.. The paint was laid out by our painter where I worked. I came up with the scheme, and he did the work (I can work rattle cans, but thats where I stop).
I believe he laid out the Grabber orange first. Then taped of that pinstrip and laid ot the black. Lastly he taped off the black and laid out the yellow, a Lamborghini colour. Needless to say he was pissed when the handle bars chipped it.
Cheers...

I've enjoyed going through all 217 posts - what a story and what a bike! Couldn't find any reference to what bars you put on it - just bought a 1982 GL1100 and plan to move away from the ape hangers. Could you please tell me what you used - or if custom made what dimensions? Thanks

If not my favorite paint job on a Wing, then it is definitely in the top three of all time. Flows beautifully with the rest of the bike. Well Done Sir!

I sifted through and didn't notice for sure, but you used 1100 heads with the 77 cams, correct?
