I have a solenoid to select which tank that I want to draw out of, this is selected by a switch on the left fairing where the CB radio would normally sit, I got two rear air shock air control switch blocks, hacked them up and glued them together. The right is for my spotlights, the left for the fuel selection.

Since I do not have a sidestand I used that dashboard light for the indication of the aux fuel tank when it is selected.

Welcome back! And, welcome to the Dark Side! You will love it after ~50 miles. I wouldn't worry about hitch loads as GLs have pulled trailers without indecent for decades.

Wow, you fabricated your own rear wheel. Hats off. Did you get it balanced yet, suspect that will be no big deal. Love the work.

G'day to All,

Well on a good run on a hot day she started to Fuel lock which was very annoying.

Had the same problem on my 86 Z-1300, the fuel line was running along the back of the cylinder block, moved it, all fixed.

So I re-routed the fuel lines and placed the fuel select solenoid to under the seat, this should fix the problem.

Peter. :-)

Well, you could not have gotten a hot day in Michigan this week, but Australia is opposite for sure. Not heard of this issue on wings but glad you solved it. Did you eliminate the petcock in favor of the solenoid? Or did I miss something. Edit, post 16 and 17 answered my question. You have dual tanks.

February BOTM is all yours Pedro. Your wheel building alone could have done that. Nice job on the sidecar details.
