Post #1 by laurentg » Sat Nov 09, 2019 4:37 am

Hello,
I have seen this product for getting ride of tubes on spoked rims :

https://www.ebay.com/itm/YAMAHA-XV1600-Road-Star-Tubeless-Kit-16-3-00-MT-16-3-50-MT-OUTEX-FR-XV16/292434940896?hash=item44167b13e0:g:~d0AAOxyni9TCa70

I was wondering if someone already experienced this.
Thanks for sharing your experience ;)

This has been a solution for the tube-wheel "problem" that the new Africa Twin has. You would not believe the number of people who are scared of a tube puncture.
That said, it does work, although you can get the same results by gooping the spoke nipples with various sealers and wrapping the center with sealing tape. Much cheaper. Videos all over YouTube.
