Hi All- are the above belts the 'premium' belts; are there belts especially made for motorcycles? if so, what is the difference in manufacture between M/C and auto belts?... both seem to spend their days spinning around...thxs kenai

Any belt made for the GL1000 is a belt intended for motorcycles, in as much as there are NO auto applications for it.
Yeah, yeah, I know all about the Acty and the Life Honda autos that use the same belt, but they use an engine based on the GL1100.

The T070 belt for the 1200 is used on many autos, mainly Toyota. I don't know of a belt made for the 1200 specifically.

The belt for the 1500 is a specific belt for it, not used anywhere else.

BTW, about the cheapest source for the T274 is Amazon (at least, if you have Prime).

Rock Auto was cheap and quick, NAPA has them also. They seem to be commonly available, I doubt gl1000 is the only application but they work fine.
