MBS has claimed another victim in Vermont!

#1

Post by ehadams »

All, the dreaded MBS (Multiple Bike Syndrome) has struck here in Vermont again.

Today I went and traded a tractor for a 75 GL. This is the fourth GL to be sitting in the garage at this time.

Bike appears to have had hard life with much time out side at some point. The bike looks mostly complete. Not sure what I will be doing with it yet. The sun has taken its toll on the paint. lots of rust and peeling paint. But it will have to wait as there are 3 others in front of it waiting to be completed.

Pictures to be uploaded tomorrow.

75 GL1000 destined to be customized
89 GL1500 (still undecided)
79 GL1000 was Scott's (what to do with this one?)

crossy.gif Ah, the shame and glory of MBS. It's nice to have a support group here for this. Laura and I started out ok, we just had the one 78 GL 1000. Next thing we new a 81 CB900 and a cb750 of unknown birth came to live with us. Now we'll soon be looking for more to "family"

Oh Man, I just thought of something, I ONLY have one 78 Wing. With 6 other different bikes around I thought I was safe from MBS. Now I see you have doubled and tripled down on GL's. On no, am I only in remission or is another GL1000 possible. (wouildn't mind a 75 or 76!) ahhhhhhhhhhhh
