I've done it too. No one makes the line you need for it. You will have to fab one yourself.

Yup. Don't forget the copper washers for the banjo fittings. Don't use any on the M/C. The thread on the fitting seals it.

Don't you guys have tape measures? When I did my 1000 (long before the internet) I snaked a tape measure through where the new line would need to go and made up a line to suit. No big deal.

The biggest deal was finding a suitable banjo bolt and I happened to have one on hand that would work.

I have a tape measure somewhere

I was just wondering what fittings people had used and where they sourced them from, the caliper doesn't have a banjo, those parts seem like a good deal

Yes, strings works well too lolol

to clarify I was just asking about the connectors, but that's been solved

The problem i run into a lot up in Canada, is that no one stocks most of the goldwings bolts and nuts, or just general metric fine thread

and then you ask them for acorn nut in it, but deeper ( the nuts to bolt the bottom of the engine on the frame ) And chrome?

The brake line supplier near me doesnt have 1.25

I'll just source them from the site posted above
the HEL guy Lopeha messaged me once, but hasnt returned 3 emails and i need some brake lines

Measure with a string and subtract 1.5" for each banjo bolt.

even here in the states metric connections for these old wings are not easy to find. The standard is 1.0 thread not 1.25 so you cannot find a steel line to fit (and Honda does not make them any more either)

yes they are, but a flared union into the master cylinder is not. One of life's great mysteries.... why Honda makes parts that cannot easily be matched... one of the others is the question that generates the answer "42"
