First experience with the later GL1000. Wiring is a little more straightforward, but I have run into a road block Had the shelter frame off, all the wiring disconnected. Now I am putting it back together, and I have a female connector without a mate! Someone please tell me, what goes here?

Looks like it's going to the main harness below the coils.

Re: Quick Question - 1978 Wiring Connections
yeah, if you took that main junction panel off (two Phillips screws) is it possible the missing multi-pin connector & wiring fell into the frame area over the front of the engine and is hiding behind?

Re: Quick Question - 1978 Wiring Connections
Yup, thanks for the quick replies. I had the shelter off for other work, and had tucked that connector away from harm - and also away from sight when I went to reinstall the shelter 4 months later!
