Hear you on riding this one over the 1800. Have an '85 LTD and an 1800, but enjoy riding the '85 better. The 1800 is my ride when the 1200 is in for work/maintenance.

I can see you're all through with your rebuild but what did you actually do with the CDI units? Only reason I ask is because I've got a pair of 82's you can have for free + shipping, I don't use them anymore with the C5 installed.
Just have to wonder why you will be pulling the engine when it is running good?
