I found the timing part of this discussion thoroughly confusing. The last time I put the belts on, I referred to a single page in the shop manual and had no difficulty.

so, I just make sure both pullys had the little arrow at the "Mark" When I put the new belts on, I make sure both pullys are at the mark... and I do not move anything else in the mean time

One cam will try to move due to the valve spring. Just hold the cam where you want it with a wrench. Make sure all pullies are at the marks before you turn the motor. I've seen a pro mess this up because he did it so many times he lost focus. check the bearings on the belt tensioners, if they sound like an old roller skate replace or rebuild them. When I'm done I turn the crank one full turn and re tension the left side again so they both are tensioned with a cam lobe on a spring. I loosen the radiator and swing the bottom out a little. Use the part number here and get Gates Belts at Napa or Rock Auto.
