I lost one of my collets that connect the engine block to the oil filter housing [transmission front cover ] and back to the oil pump. A good picture of where the part goes is here http://www.randakksblog.com/tag/gl1000- ... placement/
I feel like an idiot because I could not locate the correct parts fiche on the honda parts fiche. Can anyone supply me with the correct fiche page link or at least the part number of the collet? I already have the o-rings that i need.
Thanks in advance Raiddrten

I think it's 45 in the illustration. They give the dimensions so if you measure the hole you should be able to figure out which one is correct.

Yes, #45 is the collet, and #61 is the dowel...

Re: [missing collets] and o-rings for 1976 gl1000
I think I finally figured it out. The oil pump has one and the block has another..https://www.cmsnl.com/products/collar-1 ... n0cg3yQxdg
It is listed as a collar, 17x10 , so I will measure it and convert to millimeters. I am sure that the diameter is the same, but not the length. The one I do have came off the end of the oil pump...

The CMSL page for the block does have a matching collar 17x10 on the engine block page, although I am having trouble finding it in the schematic due to my computer needing an update. Listing on line 45
