1975 GL 1000 SADDLE BAGS

#1

Post by gdonlo04 »

having trouble finding the instruction on how to properly install the back top helmet holder. I broke off the bolt connection to the seat. ordered two more and now ready to try this again. I think I am missing spacers. it took me a few months of trial and erro to get the side bags installed correctly.

While I am not familiar with your trunk and rack, (had those saddlebags on a CX500, tossed them due to a cover blowing off.). If there are helmet locks on the rack, pictures of the spot may help. The original locks where down on the frame of the rear of the bike.
