As I was removing my carb I broke one of the o-rings that goes in at the connection of the carb to the head. I looked on Randakks' and they do not seem to carry it. Any suggestions as to where I can get it?

Check the fiche on Hondapartsnation or Partzilla pretty sure you will find what you need. Just bought 4 o-rings for the intakes on my 83 GL1100.

Are you talking about the large o-ring that seals the intake runner to the cylinder head? Randakk's used to carry them. Now it appears like you need to buy the whole kit. I would try calling them, and inquire.

Something to consider, If the "O" ring was stiff enough to break from age all of them need replacement and possibly the water tube ones too. You dont want water or vacuum leaks from a simple "O" ring

Agreed but you can get into a bad case of "while we're at it" if you start replacing every piece of rubber that could possibly be deteriorated. I would replace every o-ring but only as the related assembly is apart. In general, I would look upon any rubber parts with suspicion unless I knew when they were replaced. You wouldn't trust 40 year old tires or timing belts so why would you trust any other 40 year old rubber part?

Just installed new car to plenum seals,plenum gasket,carb to plenum air o-rings, and new o-rings at the carb to head connection...Started right up and it just feels like its running better. Thanks for getting on me about doing it right and replacing all those rubber parts while I had it open. Thanks
