Gl1100 rear shocks

Yep. I've owned two 1500,s and they have an unbalanced shock system. Air shock of height adjustment and spring shock for damping. I like my 1800 way better for handling. The 1500's feel loose when cornering.

5speed that is the way the 1500 came, coil on one side and air on the other.

The PO of my old '84 Aspy had put 1500 "mismatched" shocks on it. Spooked me until I found out that's how the 1500s came. It didn't matter, they were worn out and I replaced them with a virginal (well almost) pair of 1200 units. Strange setup.
