Track there is another option with a Permatex product that can be used to seal that area and is gas resistant with no need to mess with epoxy style fixes. It says it is equivalent to Hylomar Blue which I can attest to its abilities. It is non hardening and will remove easily again, if you need to rebuild the carbs again in the future.

Thanks for the info. I'm weighing my options. I like the idea of epoxy as it would seem to be a more permanent fix. Just not sure what product to use...
