unfortunately, the internet ( as an entity ) can be the source of much misinformation, however well meaning the
writers intention maybe.
this unintentional misdirection pops up from time to time in the GL world. and folk tend to get a little emotional
if questioned about certain methods and such.
facts are what i am looking for, and 240mm ( about 9.5 inches ) is roughly the measurement of i had on my 1000
forks.
