I used a stock 86 1200. carbs and air cleaner
1978 custom GL1000
1977 custom with 1200 engine
1985 gl1200

I think it fits. I have V65 carbs on a 1200 plenum. They’re probably a little taller than stock. I have an 1100 filter on mine and it’s open all around.
I have a 4500 rpm miss I can’t figure out now. Pretty sure it’s ignition, but haven’t found it yet.

I've heard the efi 1200 might be the quickest wing, so one in a lighter frame and gl1000 gears could be the quickest combo? 12's maybe? lol.
