Bike runs beautifully ......mileage sucks. Can anyone tell me what mileage to expect with GL1100 carbs on a '75 GL1000?

Same as with the 1000 carbs. I've had 1100 carbs on the bike in my avatar for a few years. Same mileage as the stock 76 carbs.

The 76 we have has 1100's on it.

Runs great, MPG in the mid 30's, could be higher on a slab run, but have not done that yet.

Any where from 25 to 40 + -. It all depends on how you ride. No set in stone number.

My 1100 (R2B5) with stock carbs, can get as low as 30 mpg around town and as high as 47 when cruising ....

I got high 30's with 83 carbs on my 78. 80 - 85 mph on I90 going to Sturgis. It was obviously better when I rode slower. They used to think it was a speed secret. Modern thinking is that it isn't, but if they're good carbs they work fine. Plug the vacuum line fitting.
