Hi.
I m looking for a new rear shocks for my GL.
I was looking at YSS on eBay. What do you think are they worth the money? What other aftermarket brand would you recommend? Price is an issue so Öhlins is not an option.
I would like to install OEM but haven't found those online.
Thanks

Good thread here https://www.ngwclub.com/forum/viewtopic ... 25#p514725
I have been running Hagons and on my second set. First set lasted over 100,000 miles.

Re: GL1000 77' rear shocks
I’m getting a 77 Gl 1000 running after sitting since what I was told was the late 70s. I purchased a set of the YSS. They were very good to work with and the shocks look to be very nicely made. I had the shocks made a bit longer than stock to keep the same ride hieght as stock with Lester 16” rear. The customer service was great. I hope to have the bike done in a few weeks and if the weather gets better will have a chance to see how the shocks perform.

I put Hagon shocks on my CB750 and like them a lot.
