Hard luck. So glad it was not more serious. I remember the first time I was supposed to meet you and you ended up killing a deer with your bike. IIRC that one was a bit more serious. Hoping for a quick body recovery and smooth repairs.

Sorry to hear it Doug, comes with the territory I guess. Getting older myself and reflexes have definitely slowed down. Glad you didn't suffer any major damage, to hell with the bike it can be replaced or repaired. Good it was a drop, been there done that, and not a collision things would have been much worse.

Hang in there this too shall pass.

Iv'e bought two from them, after other crashes, and have been happy with them. Delivery was a little slow, but each one is made to order, as I understand. What was your problem with them?

I noticed Cyborg in the show the other day and was curious about the missing windshield. Good to hear you made it out (relatively) unscathed.

(I brought the orange CB750 a couple spots down. I kept an eye out for you, but no dice.)
1997 Valkyrie- Light Cutomization, but Too Busy Riding
1980 KZ1300- Bike's Haunted
1976 GL1000 (Yellow)- It Runs (Poorly) and Doesn't Leak (Mostly)
1974 Velosolex 3800- Better Than Walking
1972 CB750- Broke the Chain And Ate the Motor
1969 CT90- The Most Fun You Can Have on 90ccs.
1965 CA77 Dream- Needs a Full Teardown, but Complete

All advice I give is only valid until an expert corrects me.

I bought a windshield for a Vetter Terraplane I had for a while from them. There was a "special" tool needed to install the windshield that they offered and I purchased along with the windshield. The windshield arrived and was VERY nice, but no "special" tool. (Cost was around $20 as I recall). I called them and asked about it and they insisted that it had shipped with the windshield. It did not and I scoured the packing material. The suggestion was that I was somehow trying to put something over on them. I really wasn't, I just wanted to install the dang windshield.

I never did get that "special" tool...

I have ordered from them twice now I think. Because of the uniqueness of the Fulmer package it took a couple phone calls to make sure I got the right shield but they were always courteous and helpful. Hopefully your experience was just someone having a bad day.

Glad you are doing OK and nothing too serious, take care and get those bruises healed up. I am understanding more and more about the slowing of reflexes, wishing you a speedy recovery.
