Re: CYBORG down.....again
Hard luck. So glad it was not more serious. I remember the first time I was supposed to meet you and you ended up killing a deer with your bike. IIRC that one was a bit more serious. Hoping for a quick body recovery and smooth repairs.

Re: CYBORG down.....again
Sorry to hear it Doug, comes with the territory I guess. Getting older myself and reflexes have definitely slowed down. Glad you didn't suffer any major damage, to hell with the bike it can be replaced or repaired. Good it was a drop, been there done that, and not a collision things would have been much worse.
Hang in there this too shall pass.

Iv'e bought two from them, after other crashes, and have been happy with them. Delivery was a little slow, but each one is made to order, as I understand. What was your problem with them?desertrefugee wrote: ↑Tue Jun 15, 2021 12:36 am Glad you are only mildly irritated, Doug. As for the Gustafson windshield, I had an unpleasant experience with that company once, but I won’t get into it here.

I noticed Cyborg in the show the other day and was curious about the missing windshield. Good to hear you made it out (relatively) unscathed.

sorry I missed you. I did one lap of the swap section, then pretty much hung out in the shade , and the polish sausage stand might catch up at StockbridgeLucien Harpress wrote: ↑Tue Jun 15, 2021 8:17 am I noticed Cyborg in the show the other day and was curious about the missing windshield. Re: CYBORG down.....again
I bought a windshield for a Vetter Terraplane I had for a while from them. There was a "special" tool needed to install the windshield that they offered and I purchased along with the windshield. The windshield arrived and was VERY nice, but no "special" tool. (Cost was around $20 as I recall). I called them and asked about it and they insisted that it had shipped with the windshield. It did not and I scoured the packing material. The suggestion was that I was somehow trying to put something over on them. I really wasn't, I just wanted to install the dang windshield.CYBORG wrote: ↑Tue Jun 15, 2021 8:16 amIv'e bought two from them, after other crashes, and have been happy with them. I never did get that "special" tool...

Re: CYBORG down.....again
I have ordered from them twice now I think. Because of the uniqueness of the Fulmer package it took a couple phone calls to make sure I got the right shield but they were always courteous and helpful. Hopefully your experience was just someone having a bad day.

Glad you are doing OK and nothing too serious, take care and get those bruises healed up. I am understanding more and more about the slowing of reflexes, wishing you a speedy recovery.
