75 GL not running on number 2 cylinder

I have spark and fuel in bowl but no fuel getting to cylinder. I just rebuilt the carbs with Randakk's kit, ran the carbs threw the sonic cleaner two times. I put them back together and it starts and will even idle ok. I just can't think of what I might have done or not done to cause this. Any ideas on what this might be would be great.

#2 exhaust not getting warm at idle? at higher rpm?

Compression test good, # 2 not getting hot like the others. New plug no gas on plug even after running it till it gets hot enough for fan to come on.

If you have spark and fuel in the bowl, I'd look for a stuck slide. Not sure why you still wouldn't get something through the idle circuit though.

If the cylinder starts to fire and the header gets hot at higher RPMs, I would look at the idle/slow jet and its associated idle circuit.

Thanks guys, that cylinder is not getting hot as it should only around 150 while others are above 300. It dose this no matter what RPM from idle to 3000 or more. I guess I was hoping for something so I would have to take the carbs off but looks like that is what is going to have to happen.

Well it could indeed be a stuck slide then. No need to pull the carbs. Just remove the 8 bolts holding the manifolds to the heads and slide the carb assembly to the left enough to get #2 cap off. Watch out for the manifold o-rings.

I believe Randakk’s kits do not come with the float valves. Did you pull the seats out anyway and clean the screens that’s attached to them?

Thank you everyone for all the advise. Just wanted to let you know what I found (it was all my fault). I wound up taking the carbs off and recleaned the carb again and when I started to put it back together I somehow had put two float bowl gaskets on #1 and none on #2 so now I have it back together it is now running fine.

I have never bought a GL1000 or 1100 that were running. Some were closer than others but no runners.

Ne neither. I have sold a few that were running when they left here.
