Is there any fan lubrication I can/should do on my working cooling fan while I have it out? 75 GL1000

Re: Fan motor lubrication
I have never worked on any of mine. Do not recall ever hearing of a failure knock on wood.

Re: Fan motor lubrication
Mine was seizing up and I was able to get it free with spray silicone and then lube it normal with motor oil.

Re: Fan motor lubrication
I have taken it apart and lubed the brass bushings in the distant past. Your call; I used a light 3in1 oil. Not necessary if it seems to be working fine and not sticking, or any play in the shaft area.

Re: Fan motor lubrication
These are very easy to take apart if needed, but most of them seem to run forever. I have seen a few that needed to be cleaned/lubed and I think I used the Harbor Freight Super Lube dielectric grease. Not sure if it is the best option, but it worked for me. I use this lube on a lot of things like seals and o-rings too.
