I would just end up with a goober of slug on the top of the block......

I keep a few old screwdrivers around for turning into other tools (like the one I welded a washer to for undoing the 'Wing's timing port cover) but I'd never have thought about welding one to a broken bolt like that.

I will definitely share that video on other forums.
