78 seat cover
The heat seams on my gl1000 are starting to split, sharpies and super glue aren't going to save it. Anyway from someone that has done it, who sells a nice original type cover?

Re: 78 seat cover
Wish I still had info on the '78 recover from a couple years ago. Cost ~$48, so not top-quality. Looked Ok, but way too slick. Did an early model a year before and it both looked and sat right. Installation of both was easy.

Re: 78 seat cover
Thanks I'm seeing two on ebay. I had a seat with the smooth marine vinyl cover, it was hard and slick and miserable to ride on. I bought a $50 sheep skin to put over it at Sturgis so I could survive 15 hours riding home.
