Removing transmission problems!
I can't figure out how to remove the top transmission gears from my GL1000 1976. There is something I think is called the main shaft oil passage that needs to come out first (23141-371-000). Not one of my manuals, including the Honda shop manual, mentions anything. It seems to be stuck in place somehow. I attached a picture. Any ideas?

The black piece just sits in the journal. Been there a while, a gentle persuasion/tap upwards should dislodge it.
