I have a Honda GL1000 1975.
When I start her the motor has a banging sound on low RPM. Does any of you know what it could be?

Re: Banging sound in engine on low RPM
It is probably the primary chain. For the first three years, Honda did not install a tensioner. The only real solution is to replace the chain, but you probably don't need to worry about it. You can reduce the noise by making sure the bike is properly tuned. Syncing the carbs helps too. If you do decide to replace the primary chain, be sure to order a used 1978-1979 primary chain tensioner and cover to prevent the issue in the future. You can usually find these parts on eBay for about $60.00 or so. You can get a new primary chain for about $130.00 from David Silver Spares.

Re: Banging sound in engine on low RPM
On the early motors if the carbs are not well synchronized it can show up as a noisy Hyvo chain noise from the internal engine parts. My 1976 GL1000 at idle had a noise that almost sounded like main bearings on the crankshaft were worn out.
Once I rebuilt and synced the carbs it was gone. The Hyvo chain is slapping from the imbalance caused by the synchronizing being off at idle.
It could also be something else, yet that is a common issue on the early GL1000 motors.
