GL 1983 engine Swap?

Hi Guys - finally getting around to looking at my flooded GLs!

My 80 is locked up due to salt water but my 83 is not. Just curious, will the 83 motor fit in the 80 frame?

80 GL1100 - Yellow (Got wet due to Huricane Sally - gonna give it a try!)
83 GL1100I - Blue (Got wet due to Huricane Sally - but gonna give it a try!)

Short answer is yes. Not many differences between the two.
