Chirping sound - front brakes

I recently removed the front tire to do something (which means the calipers also), and when I put it all back and hit a test ride, I hear a cyclical (not constant but once each tire rotation) chirping sound that goes away even with the slightest amount of brake pressure.

It wasn’t doing it before. Any idea what it is?

Cleaned the rotors as a sanity check - no go.

I would run the pads across sand paper on a flat surface to remove the glaze and also check to see that the caliper mounting bolts are tight.

I retorqued the axle nuts and caliper bolts; used a feeler gauge to check rotor clearance (per clymer manual and also what tibranth wrote).

Quick driveway test is promising - i'll do an extended test ride tomorrow and see for sure.
