Re: powder coating help
I have used Heat Lamps for small parts. Built a box out of wood and even used a cardboard box. The box keeps the heat in. I move the heat lamp as the part heats up. Used a temp gun to make sure i stay in the recommended range for coating. Move the light closer of farther away based on the temp I get. Rotate the part every 15-20 minutes to expose the other side. i did purchase a propane heater for this purpose after watching YouTube. Guy did his rims this way. heat lamps worked good. Had a part very pitted. tried coating w/i primer and pitting came thru. second part used primer and no pitting showed through.
