Again, more chrome than I like but it is a good looking bike. In for some upgrades and maintenance.

Dang that brings back memories. Vance and Hines made a killing with Kawis and Suzukis. For good reason. Love the sound of those pipes.

Good stuff Robin. Bet you've quite a catalog of ex-customers.

Great looking bike! What all have you done to that one for the customer? Guessing you built the engine?

I did not build this one. This is the second owner after it was built. He can't seem to get a straight answer from the guy that did build it. So we can't say how big it is. Not pulling the head just to check that. The cams aren't huge but they work for this one, same for the head work.

It is here to have a steering damper added to it. Also shim the valves and put in an updated ignition. Then some other minor issues looked over.

Now, the original owner, who paid to have the engine in the green bike built, is having me build another engine for him. That one is 1425cc. A low compression race engine. Good, mild port work, big cams, stock size SS valves. This engine in one of my chassis should be good for low 9's in the 1/4. But it is push buttons start. Waiting on the chassis to get done for that one. The whole bike is nearly a dragbike with lights and a license plate. He wants to put nitrous on it too. So the port work was done with the nitrous plates already bolted on the head. :crosso dancr

Nice bike, Robin. Kawasakis were good looking bikes...and fast. Thanks for sharing.
