Re: Like tits on a boar hog
Funny I mentioned compressors in my original post. I have a Slime compressor for the bike - it was recommended by others on various forums. I cut off the battery clamps and installed a plug to fit my battery maintainer plug on the bike. The thing's a dog. At the Dolores 'reunion' for SOHC owners, I tried to get another 5psi in a back tire. It almost deafened me sitting there buzzing for 5 minutes with zero movement of the needle. After another 5-10 minutes it had slowly crept up to the extra 5 I needed. Pretty clear the compressor was only willing to buff up fully inflated tires and give me a headache.

Subject: Question from Slime.com
I bought one of your tire inflators some time ago fo motorcycle use on trips. I did modify the power line so I could plug it into my battery maintainer connector. I just went on a 3,000 mile trip and my tires and my wife's tires needed to pe topped off. Your inflator buzzed for about 5 minutes without any noticeable pressure increase. After another 5 or ten minutes it managed to increase the pressure by 5psi. I'd call that nigh on worthless. Is that the best I can expect or is the compressor defective? This is my first attempt to use it.
