My first fishing trip with an old cooter up here who had been bugging me to go try and catch lake trout. We had a flat tire 30 minutes from the lake and 50 minutes from civilization. “That’s okay, I got two spares,” he said. Pulled out the better looking of the two and rolled it up the the hub- - wrong bolt pattern. “That’s why I have two,” he said. Rolled up the second, and same thing. “That’s okay, I’ve got a chain saw file, it won’t take long.” I thought for sure we would be there for hours, but thirty minutes trading turns and we were on our way and caught our limits. You gotta do what you gotta do.
Whatever I suggest here should be given ample time for a moderator to delicately correct. I apologize in advance.

I seem to use hand tools a lot. I tend to 'get close' with the power tools, and then 'fine tune' for fit. I suppose that's why my projects always seem to take so long...

"He that is good with a hammer tends to think everything is a nail" - Abraham Maslow
