Re: Custom Motorcycle Museum
Jussst to be clear... The examples shown (to include the Hazan's) are ride-able. It's kind of a rule, and usually in writing. Sculptures are something different.Sidecar Bob wrote:Yeah. If you guys think unrideable custom's are cool, how about this?

Re: Custom Motorcycle Museum
Really? Tell me how this goes around corners at more than walking speed
Some of the others might be technically rideable but certainly aren't legal for use on the road, which is just as bad as unrideable.

I meant the comments on that YouTube video's page. It seems not many are impressed by it.

Yeahhhhh... I think I'm gona have to side with the judges at Quail Valley on this one.
It is quite a design achievement. IMHO

Re: Custom Motorcycle Museum
I am curious as to what "achievements" you see.
To me, it looks like an overly complicated, very user unfriendly designed machine.
(did you know that you have to shift it with your knee?)
It's almost as if Rube Goldberg got into the motorcycle business.

Ha! Clever. (I could explain that this is a Bonneville bike, but that point was long lost.)dontwantapickle wrote:I am curious as to what "achievements" you see.

Tell me again what page in the J.C. Whitney catalog is that front end mechanism....?
There was a time when we (motorcycle riders/builders/manufactures) couldn't decide on a simple throttle system.
Ideas are where every thing we ride comes from.
So it seems difference of opinion is starting to take a turn and I'll except the blame. I'm out.
