A bit, lol. I actually show up to work about 2 hours early every day. Get my coffee, check the news and forums, etc. Allows me to settle into my day so I can be ready to interact with the public when my shift actually starts.

I know, I know... I can't stand most people, yet I work a job where I interact with them...

Plus, when your workplace looks like this, its hard not to indulge just a little bit... ;)

I've always called my bikes by their given numbered names, the/my 919, CB1, GL1000, etc. Sometimes I make it more formal by inserting the year. ;-p

My first Wing was a 1987 Aspencade. I sold it to a friend back in ‘06, and have been regretting it ever since. It still runs great, gone through several sets of tires and has a Po’ Boy kit installed. I bought a 1984 Standard to try and get back the feeling that the Aspencade had given me, but it sucked a valve or something after the first 100 miles. I quit in disgust for a few more years before I bought a 1984 Aspencade in rough shape last month. Everything seems to be minor, but time consuming. I have ten miles on it so far this year (10 miles more than last year). I really love these Motorcycles, just wish I had a good place to work on them. P.S. mine all came from the USA .

Loving the bikes is important, but having the skill set, and a place to give them love, is just as important. My wife went to visit a friend in Michigan, bought a house, and to make it up to me, sent me a picture of the shop. She knew how to get to me. Hang in there. It's worth it in the end

My bike's name is "Rosie." As in, AC/DC's song, "A WHOLE LOTTA ROSIE." If you look at her from behind, she has a big ol' butt because of the saddle bags. :)

I have never named my bikes or any vehicles. But I do think of them as "female".

Generally speaking, be it car or motorcycle, I have tried hanging a name on them, but it never stuck. I like the names others have for their rides, but it never seemed to fit for me on mine.

I have a sailboat (actually my current boat is my third), and all have shared the same name - Wavelength. Racing sailboats need a name. Also have a pontoon boat at the cottage - names just don't seem to fit that either.

Go figure.
