FINALLY..... Carbs run like they are supposed to

#1

Post by franchise2k »

After over a year of playing around with various carb remedies to get my beautiful 76 to run right, (Mostly just idle correctly) tonight I turned the page.

I used the prerequisite Randakk kits and it still ran bad. I ran into a guy who knows a legit mechanic who loves Wings. He ended up utilizing the rack off my poor wrecked 76 bike and took all the best parts off both to make one perfect rack. It now has throttle response like new, idles beautifully and runs like a raped ape. (If I can use that term without PETA and the #metoo movement protesting outside my house) He only charged me $100 too!

For anyone who has gone through carb issues, you know how this feels to finally have it dialed in.

(Can someone tell me why my video won't play? I tried .MOV first then converted it to .MP4 and it still won't play on my end)

Glad you finally got it to run right. As far as the video I'm pretty sure you have to post it to Youtube first then you can embed it here.

I fixed your Youtube link so that it will work. Click the edit pen and take a look at it so you will know what part of the Youtube link you should use in the future.

I didn't have any issues once I used HTML code in the above reply, after you told me to embed the link. Not sure what you fixed. (I attached a screenshot from above of my video HTML) Thanks for the help on that.

One other note. My original post has no "edit" button or I would remove that first bogus uploaded video.
