Hey everyone.
So after Athena met her end in and through Bambi, I've been contemplating which bike to get next.
I had narrowed it down to two choices:
A GSX-1300R or a GL1500 F6
Then I had a conversation with my buddy.
I'm buying the bike I was borrowing from him. So I'm back on a Suzuki!
I'll still be around, and saving for a nice '75. Hope y'all don't mind me posting pics of a Suzuki on a Honda site...

Nice bike! Don't be a stranger. We still have DSO's to find.

Appears to be a GS1100E? 1982? Love the styling of those bikes. Borrowed elements from the Hans Muth designed Katana without being so over the top. As I recall they were very good bikes - whether you lean towards canyon carving or sport-touring.
Nice score.
Nice score.

Its a 1983, and yes. Its a fun bike. My mechanic built it from the ground up, and its got a fresh motor with a jet kit in the carbs.
And I just got done talking to my mechanic; we're gonna build a monster motor for it. 1233 piston kit, cams, RS-36 carbs, the works. We're aiming for 150-160 whp.
Let you know how it goes...

I too have wanted one of those suzuki’s. One of Suzuki’s great motors with shaft drive. I’ve seen huge mileage racked up on those bikes. Any motorcycle picture is ok in my eyes.
