Very nice. Wouldn't be fun on a wet road though.

Hi guys,
It was a long build and difficult too. But i am very happy with yhe result.
The only thing what is stock on this bike are the sidecovers.
If there are any questions about the build ? please ask them

Hi Alexander,

Nice to meet you here on this USA forum.
For me it is unbelievable what you have done to achieve this superb result.
An immense job and executed very seriously.
I visited your (Dutch language) website... http://www.cafebike.nl/ ...what a beautiful story and what a number of details....truly fantastic!
Furthermore I saw on the website a number of beautiful pictures (however with the old front discbrakes) of which I show here 2 nice examples:

The video for testing of the carbs on a dyno also is very interesting:

Alexander, I wish you all the best with your beautiful cafe racer and hope that you will become elected on this NGWclub-forum to BOTM (Bike Of The Month) December 2018.

Best regards, Ruud

hi ruud, thanks fot the compliments

yeah those good old days with the skinny legs, i thought my girl needed thicker legs so i think they are now more in proportion with the big hips and round butt. only thing is the rear suspension... jet on the wishlist are ohlins with external gaschambers.

Nice! action1

Though I might prefer just a little bit of fender on it.

Somebody educate me on cafe racer building etiquette, are fenders an absolute no-no, or is it just a personal preference thing?

it depends where you live, mostly.
Here in the UK, they are required by Law (but the Law doesn't say how big they need to be  )
