Better than out in the elemants. Is the battery on a tender else someplace warmer than outdoors?

That's really no different than being in my unheated garage.

I leave the battery in, on a tender.

This battery, AGM, is on its 6th year.

Thanks for the reminder. I have a battery tender that I rotate between the motorcycle to the tractors. Usually a week or two on each. I usually cover the Wing for the winter so that the cat has cozy place to sleep but didn’t get around to it this year.

I couldn't fit it into the elevator to take it up to my 5th floor apartment, so this is where it hibernates for the winter. Just like a bear, it's a bear to start in the spring. But it always eventually starts, and has done for the 41 years I've had it. I've got no power to the shed, so I remove the battery and connect it to my Genius G1100 tender, in my apartment, for the winter.

Come on spring!!....................Cheers.....Dave

Of course, we do have a semi-hibernation during the intense Summer heat. Very little riding unless it's early and/or headed out on the road.

That red 1100 is absolutely beautiful. I am looking for one just like that, 1983 naked.

I put Mr.H to bed about a week later than I would have preferred in 2018. I was moving the snow blower from the shed to the garage and the bike from the garage to the shed so I cleared a path for the bike with the blower on the way. Mr.H has spent every winter in this shed for the 17 years since I built it and a matching garden shed. It originally had a wood floor but when that started to rot out a few years ago I had a concrete pad poured (the garden shed's wood floor is still OK but it got new sliding front doors). In 2017 we reinforced the roofs of both sheds and last summer I painted them.
