Just about that time...

#1

Post by tomk1960 »

The weather has been steadily improving and most of the snow has melted here in central Massachusetts. There has been some decent rain in the last week or so to help wash away the road salt. My bikes have all been jammed into the back shop so that I could fit my truck in the garage, but I think it's time to start moving them out to get ready for riding season. It will be just my luck that we'll get a surprise snowstorm and my truck will get buried, but I think I need to roll the dice and take my chances.

I finished my '78 just before winter and barely got to ride it, so I'm really anxious to get out and finally put some miles on it. Cross your fingers and let's hope that spring is here to stay!

I think that we're there. We might get an April dusting, but I think we're done with inches and feet of snow. I'm putting on my new wheels and brakes with the hope to put some miles on Sunday. Happy riding!

Go for it! I just put the snow shovels away, and got Grumpy home, so it's almost guaranteed to snow one more time here. I'll be riding today, though. Highs in the 50's!
