Hi ronnie.
Yes I have a 3D printer. I've only just scratched the surface. I'm not a draftsman but can do a little Tinkercad to render a NC file that will print. One rule for designs that will print via filament. Avoid printing anything that has over hang in free space. However this can be gotten around by printing supports that get removed after the print job or by changing the start of print orientation. I'm new at the game but have printed quite a few items.
If you already have a printable file or one that can be run through a slicer I would be willing to give it a go. But it's been over 1 yr since I've played with it.
PM or email me I will be most happy to lend a hand.
Kenny

My gift to myself to get through Covid was a 3d printer so this is what I've been doing for the past couple of years. Printing a lot of plastic craptastic. Some of it is functional.
Printing TPU is tough and slow because it's flexible. It's also pretty much inert to gasoline so gaskets are practical in places that don't see a ton of heat because they would get soft and squishy (up to about 275°F).
Side covers. I tried modeling up the left side cover but it really needs to be 3d scanned (to many compound curves). It's also too big for the bed of my printer so it would need to be printed in sections and glued together.
Todays project is rain bonnets to replace the dixie cups I was carrying around. I'm hoping they will get me another $5 trophy.

If anyone has questions in regards to 3d printing you can drop me an email. I just drop by here once in a while to check out the Bike of the Month and to see if the Rat got off the cooler yet so I could get a beer.

Hint ... I get off the cooler twice a day to pee ... you'll have to figure out the schedule and get across the border ... but for a man of your talents that should be doable ...

edit: deleting the cam seal posts but leaving the 3D printing stuff here in case anybody is interested.
troubleshooting "stringing" at the moment.

using PLA for now on an Ender printer. going to look into other materials later and my next project is a side cover for the sportster. posting a pic but as you can see something's wrong so i'm going through the settings today. support wouldn't release from the piece.
