Very nice. My advice would be to keep it and enjoy it. I'm afraid the market isn't very good for them, but they are a blast to ride!

Very nice. Lots of work. I couldn’t sell after that. At least for 2 years.

To All,
I have a 84 Alfa Romeo that takes a lot of my time, but I pulled out the GL connect the battery and she fire up. The GL is 46 years old and still ride great. I have to say I love the lower center of gravity. The GL can carve up any mountain with ease. I have decided to keep the GL. You guys are right, the market is very small and it has passed it propertlairty. Just a second note: When I got to 4 corners where everyone shows up on Sunday, the GL brought up a lot of lookers and question :-)

Of course. Their appeal is obvious. Even the V-Twin crowd gravitate to a classic GL.

Took my 78 GL1000 dresser down to Daytona Bike week back in 09 and you would have thought I was riding a $60,000 custom for all the attention it got. It was a very pleasant surprise.

Was doing a trip up the BRP with friends, and at every overlook, everyone had to have a look!

Even had one guy say it wasnt a GW, no bags or fairing!

The web site has been such a great resource for me. I do have a lot of pride in my GL. It was a just bucket when I purchased it. Now everytime I bring it out someone has a story to tell.
