Dick Mann's life celebration.

Post by ob1quixote »

A friend of mine knew him personally, and was able to participate in a couple memorials, including a lap at Laguna Seca for bikes either raced by or built by Dick!

At the last one, she snagged an event t-shirt and got some autographs. 3 On Any Sunday alumni, and Kenny Roberts! He was known for the blue hankerchief around the neck, kept the dust out of his trach.

May go to a friend for his personal collection, or have him auction it off to benefit the dual sport ride he promotes. That ride benefits a local rural church!

Nice to have friends when it just isnt convenient to go to the left coast!

Here is a slideshow, done by his fellow clubmates. Many pix I remember from the magazines, many-many more I have never seen!
