On a side note, my KLR650 Kawasaki also has a sight glass, slightly larger, on the right hand side … it works really well …

Same with my KZ1300. It's got a decent-sized window on the clutch cover. Easy to replace if it breaks (no need to split the case), and real easy to see without cylinders and frame in the way...

My CX has a dipstick on the left so really easy to check even with the sidecar.

I just ride them till that little red light comes on. No need to bend over and check anything and risk putting my back out. I get the neighbours kid to pour in a quart or three at that point. :crosso

Tough crowd bah boom. :-D

1978 CB550K - Very original bike with only 7499 Km. from new - light cleanup and refresh done.
1983 CB1100F - Canadian model - DOHC Supersport in pristine low kilometre condition from new.
1984 GL1200 - Standard model in showroom condition - two owner bike from new.
1984 CX650E - Restored summer 2017 - a rare Eurosport model - excellent one owner bike.
