Cover for outside use

#1

Post by eades473 »

I am going to take my bike with me on my next assignment and want to protect it from the weather. I ordered a Nelson Rigg cover from Amazon after I couldn't find any recommendations for what to buy. But I'm still open to suggestions if anyone else has any experience with an excellent cover for a 1977 naked wing.

Just a caution that you should be very careful to park it where there will be low cross-winds. And, park on the side-stand if leaving it with the cover on. I have read of many blown over due to the cover catching wind. If where sand can get blown in, take it off daily and shake it out.

I find covers like rain gear..............most don't work so well.

But I cover mostly for dew or frost, prying eyes.

I have a few Nelson Rigg covers. I think they're good for maybe 2 years if not used outdoors year round. I'll buy another when the time comes.
