GL1000/1100 engine stand

#1

Post by dubdenny »

*I'm wondering if anyone in this community knows the current whereabouts of the homebuilt GL1000/1100 engine stand that was fabricated some time ago by Greg Foresi, which was then subsequently passed along to Cyborg (Doug Snavely), who then loaned it to someone and never saw it again? If the person who currently has it in their possession would kindly contact me, I'd appreciate it, I'd like to fabricate one for myself. TIA

I can tell you a little bit about that photo.
The Vespa is gone.
The Toy Carrier trailer is gone (great trailer!).
The house and barn are gone.
And now the engine stand is lost.
FYI The commercial part of the stand was from Harbor Freight. I used the lower motor mount rod through those bottom cross holes. A bunch of washers on either side got the fit close. The 2 rear mount holes got the stock engine mount bolts.
