Hello from Ottawa, Canada.
Well it is about time I introduce myself to the forum members since I have been a member of this site for the past four years! It all started when I felt sorry for an abused ‘77 that I found. Many dollars and parts bikes later, I finally was able to ride it this summer and they are truly a great old bike!

Welcome from Arizona. We had snow in the mountains last week, but I doubt there's been that much here in the low desert for the last few millennia.

Thanks you all! Glad to be apart of this great club. I have owned many Hondas in the past but this one has been a handful. It’s hard to find a good engine without cylinder corrosion and good compression. Most parts bikes around here have sat for years with little to no shelter. I currently have pulled the third engine and in the process of building up an 1100 to install. Going to use ‘76 carbs and cams with a Dyna ignition. Engine was running and had 160psi on all four before removal. I hope this time is all comes together!!

Thanks for the introduction (from a VH60N Rep). Persevere my rotorhead brother.

I had 3 different engines in my 82 GL1100, put well over 60,000 miles on 2 of them.
The original only gave me about 120 miles before an intake valve snapped, grenading the cylinder wall.

You're well into "wrenching season" up there, I'm sure. Good luck with it.
Looks like you've got a very nice machine, get a look at that exhaust!
We'd love to see any "before" pictures....."during" pictures.....
