I've been out 'it' for a long time. moved to Athens,GA. I think this is going to be home. Wandering the planet a long time. nice to try to put roots down. I got a '78 GL1000, with the big hug fairing. looks terrific to me. carbs were pulled off, the rest of the bike is almost new. no scratches, good paint, tires, brakes, fork bearings feel good. got a Wally world battery, going through the carbs. just dirty. it will be running very soon. very excited!

Athens is a nice area. North Ga. mountain roads are great. Been to Helen & back many times. Welcome and enjoy settling.
